This page explains what information may be processed when you use Tooltensor.
How tools work
Most business file checks, PDF conversions, and similar tool inputs are processed in your browser during normal use. Tooltensor does not require account registration to use standard tools.
File-based tools
Business file tools and the PDF converter are designed to keep processing inside the browser where possible. If a page is operating on a local file, the intent is to inspect or transform that file client-side rather than upload it to a user account system.
Some validation pages explicitly send uploaded XML to the Tooltensor validator service so the server can apply formal invoice rules such as EN 16931, Peppol BIS, Factur-X, or XRechnung checks. Those pages should state that server-side step clearly before validation runs.
What user data may be processed
When you visit the site, technical request data can be processed by hosting and security services such as IP address, browser or user-agent, timestamp, requested URL, and referrer where available.
Local storage and cookies
Tooltensor uses browser storage for essential preferences such as theme and consent status. Optional analytics or advertising technologies may use cookies or similar identifiers only where enabled and permitted.
Advertising
This site uses Google AdSense to display advertisements.
Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

Purposes and legal basis
Data processing is used for site operation, security, abuse prevention, performance monitoring, live registry lookups, formal invoice validation, and advertising support where consented technologies are enabled. Where required, optional technologies are shown with consent controls.
Retention
Technical logs are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for security and operations, then rotated or removed according to provider settings. Validation traffic should only be retained as long as necessary for processing, security, and troubleshooting.
Data sharing
Tooltensor does not sell personal data. Data may be processed by infrastructure, measurement, and advertising providers acting as service providers or independent controllers under their own policies. Live VAT and Peppol lookup pages also depend on official or operational third-party lookup infrastructure for those specific checks.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or objection regarding personal data processing.
